John Cooke, Project Manager, Brown University
“I have worked closely with Michael Teller, the Principal involved in the historical restoration and repair of many of our campus buildings. Along with the complete historical restoration of the 80-year-old Alumnae Hall, he was also involved in the restoration of the historic fences and gates surrounding the campus, along with more than 20 buildings, including the Marston Boathouse, Nicholson House, and Wilson Hall. Throughout a long history of providing restoration services for Brown University, Mr. Teller has taken care to minimize the impact on the staff and students. Mr. Teller appreciates the significance of maintaining the historic integrity of the buildings and the campus and, as a result of his dedication to preserving the Brown University buildings, the aesthetic of the campus has been returned to its original appearance, yet the buildings have become more energy efficient. I recommend Mr. Teller and look forward to working with him on future projects.”

Jon Karon, Founder, Karon Law, LLC, Boston, MA
“Michael consulted with me on a case and was a pleasure to work with. He made complex concepts easy to understand, both for me and the jury. Most importantly, I knew he was giving me his honest opinions, so I could accurately evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of my case. If you consult with Michael he may not always tell you what you want to hear, but he’ll always tell you what you need to hear.”

Bill Hughes, Project Manager City of Boston Public Facilities Department
“The City of Boston Public Facilities Department engaged Michael Teller for the restoration and repair to the White Stadium in Franklin Park. He designed a comprehensive program of repairs to the concrete, the expansion joints, the exterior waterproofing, as well as the press box roof, the overhead doors, the railings, and the ramp including new handicap ramps, entrances, seating platforms, as well as a new elevator which exits directly onto the grandstands. Mr. Teller provided excellent service in the design and representation during the construction process. His solutions have addressed our short and long-term goals for performance and budget. I highly recommend Michael and look forward to working with him again.”

“Michael Teller designed and oversaw the historical restoration of our hotel. He prepared a comprehensive study and, after presenting a variety of options, was engaged to implement the design and oversee the construction. The design focused on ease of maintenance and responded to the history of a 100-year-old building at a reasonable cost. Throughout the project Mr. Teller was careful to minimize the impact on guests of the hotel. As a result of his dedication to preserving the historic aesthetic of the building, the Lenox Hotel resembles its original appearance, yet is more energy efficient. I recommend Michael and look forward to working together on future projects.”

Rita Coppola, Director, Capital Asset Construction, City of Springfield
“The City of Springfield has immense confidence in Michael Teller to handle various types of projects and has engaged him for school projects, the City Hall, the Symphony Hall, the Campanile, as well as parks and monuments. We first dealt with Mr. Teller on the restoration of the Barney Mausoleum in Forest Park and were extremely pleased with the outcome. Not only was he responsive, but the quality of work and the resultant restoration won awards from the Massachusetts Historical Commission. In addition, the construction administration services provided by Mr. Teller were exemplary. In every project helped guide the City through the process of understanding the issues and while being highly responsive and meeting project schedules. “I had the pleasure of working with Michael Teller following a devastating fire in our historic condo building in South Boston. His design was practical and efficient, and he clearly explained the entire process as we worked together. He and the contractor worked well together and were able to resolve any issues in a timely fashion to keep the project moving along. During the project Michael was always available and easy to get hold of for any questions or concerns. He was very accommodating to the Owners and the project was done professionally and on schedule. Mayor Michael Sullivan, City of Lawrence
“On behalf of the City of Lawrence, I would like to offer this letter of support for Michael Teller. To maintain the historic integrity of the Lawrence City Hall and the cupola, we needed to find an architect that was experienced and ready to take on the challenge. Mr. Teller truly listened to the City’s concerns and brought together a team that helped us get the needed information to make decisions and follow through to completion.
Mr. Teller implemented repairs to the severe deterioration while replicating the original historic fabric in color, texture, scale and design. The project resulted in a building that looked like it was 80 years old and well maintained, rather than new, and he accomplished the project goals effectively. Therefore, I recommend Michael Teller and look forward to working with him on future projects in Lawrence.”

Patricia M. Carey, Director, Needham Park and Recreation
“Needham Park and Recreation has worked with Michael Teller for many years. After a review of all the current conditions at the Rosemary Pool complex, including the pool, building and site, he guided us in maintaining a safe aquatic facility in the long term. With a unique facility and difficult site, Needham Park and Recreation needed to find an architect that was prepared to listen and to take on the challenges, and he has certainly been that firm. Working with Michael Teller has become a partnership over the years. Over the years, I have not hesitated to pick up the phone and call Mr. Teller for advice on other projects that I'm working on and trying to get to a solution. He has never hesitated to provide guidance or help me talk through my concerns. Without hesitation, I recommend Michael Teller and look forward to future projects that we will work on together.”
